Day four.Thursday, January 11th, 2011.The color palette in this display window, a variety of cohesive blues, caught my eye as I walked down Via dei Condotti. From a bit of research, I learned that this classic shop, Schostal, is unique to the city of Rome and carries products mostly in shades of blue. Established in the year 1870, it has some fantastic history to its name. Click the photo to view a few great shots of the storefront from previous eras.

P.S. If I had Photoshop, I would remove the glare from the glass. Sadly, my editing is incredibly limited. I apologize.

Day four.Thursday, January 13th, 2011.A shot from the beautiful park leading up to the famous Galleria Borghese. This gallery is where I first fell in love with Bernini’s Apollo and Daphne sculpture and Caravaggio’s Madonna dei Palafrenieri painting. It was the highlight of my entire time spent in the city of Rome.
